About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Contract Media Buyer with agency experience in the auto insurance, debt relief, and home improvement verticals. This role requires a seasoned performance marketer who can build, optimize, and scale campaigns across multiple ad platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Native platforms, YouTube, and Google Ads. You must thrive in a direct-response, outcome-focused environment and bring the experience and confidence to operate both strategically and tactically. Agency or affiliate marketing experience is highly preferred. This contract role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter and can independently manage the full campaign lifecycle, generate creative direction, and produce scalable results without day-to-day oversight.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, launch, and scale campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Native platforms, YouTube, and Google Ads.

  • Activate and optimize campaigns while maintaining ad performance, compliance, and profitability.

  • Manage budgets responsibly, focusing on efficiency and profitability (CPL, CPA, ROAS).

  • Continuously refine targeting, bidding strategies, creative strategies, and audience segmentation across channels.

  • Develop direct-response creative concepts, hooks, and angles tailored to each platform.

  • Write compelling ad copy, headlines, scripts, and video storyboards for social, video, and native formats.

  • Partner with designers, editors, and creators to produce UGC, native-style, or DR video ads.

  • Conduct ongoing testing across platforms, audiences, creatives, and funnels using disciplined frameworks.

  • Analyze performance data using platform tools and analytics solutions (Google Analytics, Everflow, Tableau, etc.).

  • Optimize campaigns for KPIs, including CPL, CPA, CVR, ROAS, Call Quality, and downstream lead value.

  • Document learnings and iterate consistently to drive scale.

  • Work closely with affiliate managers, engineering/tracking teams, and creative resources.

  • Communicate performance insights, opportunities, and blockers proactively.

  • Ensure campaigns align with advertiser requirements, compliance standards, and payout structures.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of media buying experience overseeing $100K+ monthly ad budgets across multiple direct-response channels.

  • Proven experience with:

    • Meta Ads

    • TikTok Ads

    • Native advertising platforms

    • YouTube / Google Video

    • Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, Demand Gen)

  • Hands-on experience driving leads in auto insurance, debt, or home improvement verticals.

  • Agency, affiliate, or performance marketing experience where speed, testing volumes, and results were core expectations.

  • Strong direct-response instincts and the ability to write or guide high-performing creative.

  • Ability to independently manage budgets, scaling processes, testing roadmaps, and performance analytics.

  • Proficiency with tracking & reporting systems.

  • High level of ownership, communication clarity, and organizational discipline.
