About the Role
The Sr. Account Manager is a self-motivated and driven team member who will be the liaison between Ignite Media and the brands and agencies we service. This position will develop solution-oriented strategies that build strong partnerships and drive profitability. The Sr. Account Manager will act as the day-to-day representative within Ignite to take clients from launch to scale through monitoring results and optimizing areas of opportunity. Additionally, they will analyze and resolve diverse, complex issues via an in-depth knowledge of the performance marketing space and Ignite’s unique solution and value proposition.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact on all client-related items (post-sale). You will be responsible for building strong relationships with each client within your portfolio, understanding their business, how we can align our solutions with their business, and scale accounts profitably.
Serve both a data-oriented and a creative role, facilitating communication between all business units as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
Serve as a subject matter expert for performance marketing channels while coordinating launch and scale of campaigns, facilitating campaign updates, negotiating and managing campaign budgets and payouts, identifying upsell opportunities and troubleshoot tracking, quality, and performance needs.
Leverage a deep understanding of campaign economics of performance marketing and have a track record of leveraging data to convey complex concepts.
Regularly and autonomously advise on campaign strategy and process management for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Understand client ROI goals along with marketplace economics to develop solution-oriented strategies that drive profitability.
Conduct visual presentations using Google Suite for regular account reviews; summarizing results, insights, and best practice recommendations for future campaigns.
Plan and execute timely and detail-oriented marketing spends to manage and maximize monthly budgets.
Leverage a deep understanding of industry best practices of performance marketing, client brand guidelines and Ignite Media Best Practices to create campaign assets with the help of our internal design team. Monitor campaign to ensure alignment to best practices and brand guidelines.
Build strong relationships internally and externally built on trust, execution, and through alignment of objectives. Provide mentorship and delegate to junior AMs and Coordinators who support the campaigns under your purview.
Communication – must be prompt, courteous, thorough and professional.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or demonstrated experience in a similar business environment
5+ years of digital marketing account management experience
Ability to manage and scale campaigns in a variety of digital marketing channels: Email, Social, Display, etc.
Strong analytical skills, including ability to identify and quantify financial impact of opportunities with limited data and translate data into actionable strategies
Results-oriented, self-starter who is able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with campaign tracking platforms and data visualization tools (Tableau, Microsoft Office & Google Suite preferred).
Ability to prioritize and focus on multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of pixel tracking via attribution/ tracking platforms for advertising (eg. Google Analytics, Impact Radius, Everflow, Cake, etc.)
Knowledge of graphics, HTML & web pages
Experience using data visualization tools like Datorama and Tableau in a business setting to drive revenue growth
Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus
